Think, O thinker!

One was pink,

The other was blue.

The colors didn’t matter,

And I had no clue.

I stood there with wrinkled head,

Rubbing palms and turning red.

This wasn’t two roads diverging in yellow woods

It was me, tired, no good.

Every time I treated myself for doing well

Each time I ended up raising the bell.

The world didn’t accept

What was a creation, and I wept.

I own a tea stall,

Choose a different call.

Judge my deceptive looks,

And you will still be in my good books.

I am no male,

I am no female.

I am no offender,

I am a transgender.
